We went on a Sunday evening around 6 PM and unfortunately there was nobody in the restaurant except for myself and my wife and another couple. This place deserves to be packed on a Daily basis. Ordered the Hot and Smokey combo, service was friendly and fast and the food came out piping hot. Fries were cooked to perfection and generously seasoned, the burger was juicy and tasted incredible, perfectly balanced toppings. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger and it was hands down one of the juiciest, most flavour-packed burgers I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, rich and savoury, loaded with sautéed mushrooms and melty Swiss that complemented the beef beautifully without overpowering it. Every bite was better than the last. My husband went with the Hot & Smokey and it was just as incredible — bold, smoky, with just the right amount of heat to keep things interesting without overwhelming the flavour of the burger itself. You could taste the quality and care in every ingredient. And here’s the real test: we didn’t even manage to take a photo for this review before diving in. Zero hesitation. The burgers here are clearly made with pride, the flavours are perfection, it’s the kind of place you immediately start planning your next visit before you’ve even finished your meal. We tried their special cranberry brie burger which had a cranberry onion jam, brie, we went with 2 smashed patties and split it.. should've each gotten our own! The flavours worked so amazingly and the patties were cooked to perfection! As a side we HAD to try their poutine knowing that they have a chip truck in the summer and we miss chip truck poutine in the winter as the trucks are normally the best poutines. This poutine was no exception, fries were crispy to the end, plenty of curds and a very flavourful gravy. Met Chris and Chris(the owners) and had a great chat with them, absolutely awesome people. Not sure if they double fry them or not, but they were really crispy. Not overdone though. The burger was huge! Very nicely done with fresh tomato and lettuce. Eat-in order was presented in a paper box container with flaps (perhaps same as take-out) which was slightly awkward from which to eat a salad. Washrooms clean and spacious. Waited in a short line to place an order for a Hot and Smokey Double Patty Smash Burger and a can of Pepsi. $20.34. No fries, bacon or extra cheese ordered. Waited maybe 20 minutes for my order to arrive at my table. Absolutely delicious!! Taste, texture, mouth feel were great. The best tasting burger that I can remember consuming, ever. It takes everything that's good about Five Guys burgers (the freshness of the flavour, the cheese melting from the steam inside the tin foil wrapping) and puts it into a smash burger format. I got the mushroom Swiss burger and it was perfect, from the bun to the meat the the perfect topping ratio. I would definately add this to your favourite restaurants list. My 89 year old mom loved her burger and wouldn't stop eating my fries! Everything was delicious as we had heard their food was. Its close to our home now, so we will be back alot. A welcome addition to our neighbourhood. I know Chris and Kris and are very happy for their many accolades and wish them continued success.
